Gerry, may I make a suggestion?
I realise you have a proven and demonstrated track record in failing to even acknowledge suggestions that may help in unravelling the mystery of Madeleine's disappearance - but I will try anyway.
You have made a rather belated appeal to those responsible for Madeleine's plight to come forward with information. Even though many have the perception that it was the equivalent of a schoolboy putting a book down the back of his trousers, I will assume that it was genuine.
The first thing that struck me was that you extended a greater degree of sympathy, understanding and even humanity, to those you believe to be responsible for the disappearance or even death of your daughter, than either you or your family had the courtesy of extending to the person who was kind enough to return your missing wallet.
Would you consider creating a prominent link to your plea so that it is easily available? You could give less prominence to out-dated fund raising events or photographs of balloons, to accommodate such a link.
A few months ago I made a similar plea - listed under the "Links" section of this blog. It is viewed on a daily basis. My blog does not receive anywhere near the amount of visitors that has been claimed for yours, so it would be safe to assume such a link prominently placed on your blog would attract a far higher number of views.
If you adopt this suggestion I will be happy to include a direct link on my blog, although as I am sure you will appreciate, I am unable to offer a link to your homepage as I do not meet the same high standards of blatant hypocrisy achieved by the Establishment or UK media.
If you should decide against giving your plea high level of exposure, perhaps you would care to explain why it is impractical or lacks merit
