The McCanns: What is the tackiest thing Team McCann have done?

Recently we had a discussion entitled, "What is your favourite or most hated McCannism?" Tonight I continue this theme with another question - "What is the tackiest thing Team McCann have done?"

At the risk of sounding like a strict Headmaster, there are a few rules and a little lecture!:) But I do have my reasons.

Over the last few days there has been an increase in people and organisations coming to this blog to read, "Non-McCann" articles. Not just recent articles, some going back many months. I would like to bring the tragedy of Madeleine McCann to their attention - in a way they may not have seen before.

This new thread together with the previous question, will go hand-in-hand to provide an easy to read summary of the actions and statements that have helped cause the finger of suspicion to be pointed towards the parents. Tomorrow I will add a new post along the lines of, "The McCanns For Beginners" or "The McCanns for Dummies" On second thoughts, I will go with the first title, the Dummies are already for the McCanns.

In order to maintain the integrity of this thread and make it "user-friendly" may I ask you to observe a few guidelines?

* Please restrict your answers to facts not rumours - or what we would like Team McCann to do - definitely not what we would like them to do!

* Please use this topic only for the purpose it is intended - there are other posts to which you can respond with general comments or observations. I know it is easy to post to the wrong thread so where possible I will try to copy such responses to the appropriate post. I may however, get a bit peed of if the same person repeatedly makes the same error - in that case, I will just delete the post and mutter a few things under my breath.

* I wont be responding to your comments - not due to lack of courtesy, but to keep this thread uncluttered and easy on the eye.

To finish my Headmaster's lecture, I will ask you to remember the Team H school motto. "Do unto others as they would do unto you - but do it first and make sure the buggers don't get up again".

Not bad when you consider that comes from someone with two stuffed cuddly toys sitting right behind him!
