Bilateral Relations: Japan and UAE boost cooperation

Japan and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to expand their bilateral economic and technological cooperation.

The agreement came during a meeting between Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Tokyo, Japanese officials said.

Japan is keen to secure a stable supply of crude oil from the Middle East country by strengthening bilateral ties.
