Two weeks until Christmas Eve and the spirit is upon me!
So far we have discussed Christmas movies, songs and smells. Now for something completely different. The most useless, gawd-awful Christmas present you have ever received?
One of the oddest Christmas presents I received was given to me by an ex-girlfriend. It was a silver photo-frame. You might think that was rather nice considering my passion for photography - but this was years before I owned a camera!
I didn't even have a photograph of us together. If I had, I could have chosen a romantic photo of us, stuck it in the frame and put it on my bedside cabinet next to the glass I put my teeth in, and kissed her goodnight every night.
This may sound harsh, but to me it very much smacked of the sort of Christmas present you buy someone when you don't really want to buy one! I got my own back though. When I did get a camera, I put another girl's photo in the frame!
