This is it - my suburb's Christmas Tree. Bigger, denser and brighter than ever before! Anyone who has seen photos of previous years trees will immediately notice the improvement! This year it's even taller than the fence surrounding it!The other day I raised the issue of Christmas songs, tonight let's take a look at Christmas movies. Forget all the new ones, they don't count. I mean proper Christmas movies!
Personally, I have never liked "Wonderful life". I adore James Stewart but the movie does nothing for me. It has to be the original "Miracle on 34th Street" followed by "Bell Book and Candle".

If you are wondering why this post is so early, I can explain! We have been hit by a series of storms and I have lost power several times. Today was worse than yesterday - and yesterday we had more rain in 30 minutes than is normal for the whole of December.
I have a few things to do tonight, so I wanted to get as much out of the way as possible, before it hits again!
