Bilateral trade: Chile and Vietnam set to sign FTA

Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, has said he believes Vietnam and Chile will soon ratify a bilateral free trade agreement. He made the statement while receiving Chilean Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Furche.

Dung said Vietnam wanted to learn and share experience and cooperate more strongly with Chile in all sectors, especially trade and investment. Chile wants be a gateway for Vietnamese goods to enter the Latin American market, and hopes Vietnam would do the same to Chilean commodities in the Southeast Asian market.
