Burma's National Library goes under the hammer - the people already are

Burma is to auction off the National Library Building early next month, as part of the country's privatization program.

Local publication 'Voice' reports the move is part of the military regime's plan to privatize some state-owned buildings left behind after the move of the administrative capital to Nay Pyi Taw from Yangon in late 2005.

No doubt the medalled harbingers of misery, are eagerly looking forward to another personal financial bonanza.
