Kosovo: Greek PM - avoid hasty decisions

Speaking in the Slovene capital Ljubljana, Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis has spoken of the need to avoid making hasty decisions on the future status of Serbia’s troubled province of Kosovo.

The Greek government’s press service quoted him as saying Greece’s position on Kosovo is well known and it suggests that one-sided and hasty measures should be avoided, while the European Union should take energetic steps towards maintaining stability and security, and EU’s unity on the issue is crucial.
