Media: Iran wlecomes Iran-Bahrain Journalists and Reporters Friendship Association

IRIN reports Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini has welcomed the idea for formation of the Iran-Bahrain Journalists and Reporters Friendship Association and hoped for its materialization.

"Formation of the Association and similar associations such as the Iran-Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship Group can help bring views of Iranian and Bahraini people and officials closer to each other," said Hosseini.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of a dinner reception arranged in his delegation's honor by IRI's ambassador to Bahrain Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
