Bilateral Relations: Cuba and Syria keen to boost cooperation

A meeting between the Member Regional Leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) Osama Adi and a delegation from the Cuban-Arab Friendship Association headed by Dr. Rodrigo José ءlvarez Cambras, has resulted in both sides expressing their desire to enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries.

SANA reports "Dr. Alvarez Cambras underlined that the standing relations of friendship between the two countries has become more strong due to the desire and will of two the friendly peoples, asserting Cuba's standing by Syria and the Palestinian people against occupation and hegemony forces".
