Advisors to the leaders of Cyprus' two communities have started preparatory talks this week, with both sides reporting positive progress.
The two advisors have been assigned to set up working groups and technical committees to prepare for fully-fledged reunification talks, which are expected to restart in three months.
Hasan Ercakica, the spokesman for Turkish Cypriot leadership, told local media that the outcome of the advisors' meeting which started on Monday were positive.
"There is progress," he said, referring to the framework of the working groups and technical committees.
