Bilateral Relations: Poland and Hungary to discuss cooperation in the EU and EU energy and neighbourhood policies

Polish President Lech Kaczynski will pay a one-day official visit to Hungary on Tuesday to discuss cooperation in the EU and EU energy and neighbourhood policies, Polish news agency PAP reported.

Kaczynski will meet with his Hungarian counterpart Laszlo Solyom and Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurscany. He will also visit the Hungarian parliament.

Handzlik added that Hungary was Poland's significant economic partner. In 2007 bilateral trade totalled 5.4 billion euros. This visit will consolidate these good and friendly relations, he stressed.
