Tourism: Iran to promote tourism

IRNA reports the chief of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei, said on Saturday that the new Iranian year will be the year of developing Iran tourism industry inside and outside of the country.

ICHHTO department in Razavi Khorasan quoted Mashaei as saying that the Iranian government is due to promote tourism industry and also utilize the tourism potentials to attract foreign tourists from around the world.

Stressing the need to expand Iran's relations with the world countries especially with the neighboring states in the Persian Gulf, Mashaei said that Iran's international achievements in many fields particularly in its nuclear program have had positive outcome for the country.
