Bilateral Relations: Brazil supports China over Taiwan, Tibet

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and his Brazilian counterpart Celso Amorim, held a telephone hook-up to discuss bilateral ties and other areas of common concerns.

Amorim expressed support for Beijing Olympic Games and wished the upcoming event a great success.

Brazil has remained steadfast in its "one-China" policy, and it believes that Tibet is an inalienable part of China, said Amorim.
