Polish Foreign Minister Rodoslaw Sikorski and his French counterpart Bernard Kouchner met in Warsaw on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty and the EU eastern policy.
The two ministers also discussed the priorities of the French presidency over the EU as well as issues linked with bilateral cooperation, according to Polish news agency PAP.
Speaking at a joint press conference following the talks both ministers stressed friendly relations between the two countries.
The two ministers also continued a discussion on the possible granting of Membership Action Plan (MAP) to Ukraine. "It seems that our stands have become closer," said Sikorski.
