Bilateral Relations: Azerbaijan and Russia - no unresolved issues

There are no unresolved issues between Azerbaijan and Russia; the relations between the two countries are at the highest level, said Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Artur Rasi-zade while meeting speaker of the Russian State Duma Boris Gryzlov.

The Azeri prime minister underscored that the trade turnover between the two country increased, despite the fact that in 2007 Azerbaijan decided not to buy the Russian gas. Rasi-zade called real the task announced earlier by leaders of the two countries to increase the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia up to $2 bn.

It is worth mentioning, in 2007, the trade turnover was $1.5 bn.
