Defense: Pakistan tests cruise missile

Pakistan has conducted a successful test flight of the Air Launched Cruise Missile, the army said.

The test of Hatf-VIII (Ra'ad) or thunder - is part of a continuing process of validating the design parameters of the weapon system, an army statement said.

The Ra'ad has a range of 350 kms, and has been developed exclusively for launch from Aerial Platforms.
