Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland have upheld the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and reiterated their support for Georgia and Ukraine's bid to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
The leaders of the four nations, issued the Riga Statement stating their willingness to strengthen dialogue with Georgia. The declaration also declared the recent parliamentary polls in the country were in accordance with international law, and a "free and democratic election."
The declaration also reaffirmed support for Georgia and Ukraine's NATO membership bid.
