International Relations: Serbia recalls its Czech ambassador in protest against Czech support for Kosovo

Serbia has recalled its ambassador to the Czech Republic in protest against its recognition of the independence of Kosovo.

Serbian Foreign Ministry announced in a protest note to the Czech government that in accordance with the action plan adopted by the government earlier this year, Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic had ordered the immediate recall of Serbian Ambassador Vladimir Veres from the Czech Republic. He was given 48 hours to leave.
