Mining: Coal mine flood traps 56 people in China's southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

A coal mine flood left 56 people trapped in China's southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Reuters reported.

The flood occurred at the Nadu mine in Tiandong County, Xinhua said late on Monday, citing the Guangxi Work Safety Administration, state news agency Xinhua said.
Rescuers have so far failed to contact the miners underground, the report said.
