Aviation: Portugal approves common aviation space agreement

Portugal on Thursday approved a resolution proposal for the creation of a common aviation space between the European Community and 11 other European nations, the Portuguese Council of Ministries said.

The resolution proposal, which had been sent to the Portuguese assembly and subsequently ratified by the country's president, approved the multilateral agreement signed two years ago in Luxembourg between European Community member countries and the governments of the other 11 nations.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Romania, Serbia and the provisional administration of Kosovo are included in the multilateral agreement.
