Bilateral Relations: Iran and Nepal seek to boost cooperation

IRNA reports Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and his Nepalese counterpart Upendra Yadav on Tuesday urged broadening cooperation in light of the new political conditions in Kathmandu, Nepal.

In a meeting held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting, the Iranian and Nepalese foreign ministers called for exchange of delegations to explore opportunities for cooperation.

Mottaki called for planning to boost Iranian cooperation on implementing the Nepalese development projects and investment in commercial, industrial and economic plans.

Yadav said for his part that the two countries enjoy common interest and Nepal is willing to cooperate with Iran in all fields.
