Georgia: The man who wanted war with Iraq slams Russia

During his visit to Georgia U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney said that the United States is fully committed to Georgia's bid for the NATO membership, agencies reported.

"America is fully committed to Georgia's membership action plan for NATO and to its eventual membership in the alliance," Cheney said after meeting with Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili, adding that "Georgia will be in our alliance."

Cheney - one of the main forces behind the invasion of Iraq - slammed Russia for its military conflict with Georgia and the following recognition of Georgia's two breakaway regions.
