Macedonia: Macedonians in Albania against the changing of Macedonia’s name

Macedonians in Albania firmly keeps the position that no one has the right to change Macedonia’s name, Macedonian Sitel television reports.

“The name is connected with Macedonia’s identity no matter where they live. We were the first one who said this clearly in a declaration to the international institutions in Albania”,
Albanian Liqenas municipality mayor Edmond Temelko said. Liqenas is the only municipality where live only Macedonians.
