Health: Yemen implements mass anti-polio campaign

Yemen has implemented a UNICEF backed nationwide anti-polio campaign to immunise more than 4 million children under five years of age.

The campaign, which is being conducted house to house, will be the last one as Yemen will be announced as a polio-free country by 2009, officials and organisers of the campaign said.
