Nuclear Issues: France ready to build nuclear plants with India

France has said that it is ready to start commercial contracts with India to build nuclear plants in the country.

"India needs nuclear energy not only for capacity building for also to fight climate change", All India Radio reported quoting French Ambassador to India, Jerome Bonnafont.

He also described the Indo-French Nuclear deal and India's nuclear cooperation with other countries as a win-win-proposition.
