Oil: Iran to help Ecuador's oil industry

A visiting Iranian delegation met with Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa on oil cooperation Monday, local media reports.

Iran plans to provide credit worth $280 million to Ecuador to modernize its oil pipeline system, Iranian Cooperation Minister Mohammad Abbasi told reporters after the meeting. A schedule for the delivery of the credit has been worked out and will be strictly followed, he said.
