Brazil: China floods Brazil with fake goods

SABC reports the Brazilian Anti-Piracy Association warned that Brazil stands to lose billions of dollars in tax revenue as China intensifies its fake goods exports. The huge demand for Chinese counterfeit products on the Brazilian markets is driven by the global economic crisis. Shoppers prefer cheaper counterfeit goods to avoid paying tax as thousands of unemployed people who've lost jobs turn to informal trading to survive.
