The request was made by Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Kazemi Qomi and newly-elected Iraqi Parliament Speaker Iyad al-Samirrai during a meeting in Baghdad Tuesday evening .
The two officials called for further expansion of bilateral parliamentary cooperation and underscored the need for exchange of delegations between the two parliaments.
