Cooperation will be carried out mainly in nano-technology, advanced materials, biotechnology, solar energy and energy efficiency.
According to the memorandum, which was signed Thursday in Denmark, both sides will explore possible cooperation in joint research and development projects, as well as exchanges of scientists and experts, science and technology information and documentation in the context of the co-operative activities.
The two sides will also consider organizing joint scientific workshops, conferences and symposia, according to Eddy Chan, Hong Kong's commissioner for Innovation and Technology.
