Brazil: Women of Peace reducing violence in Brazil's slums

Brazil's ministry of justice is recruiting thousands of women to help reduce violence in the country's slums.

They are known as Women of Peace and their mission is to reach young people bwfore they resort to crime.

And, as Al-Jazeera's Lucrecia Franco reports, their efforts are starting to pay off.
