Serbia: Top model charged with misappropriation of money aimed for humanitarian aid

FOCUS Information Agency - Serbian police arrested Katarina Rebraca, chairperson of a charity fund named after her, over abuse of money aimed for humanitarian aid, Serbian Blic daily reports. According to unofficial data Rebraca is accused of misappropriation of RSD 37 million (RSD 99 = EUR 1).

“Rebraca is accused of registering three companies under the names of her friends. These companies have been reporting fictitious payments for medical equipment. Charges have been brought against the three accomplices, too,” an anonymous source close to the investigation announced.

The former top model has been arrested in Belgrade, Blic informs.
