Macedonia: Arms warehouses close to Kosovo border threaten Macedonia’s security

FOCUS Information Agency - The opening of several arms warehouses close to the border to Kosovo raises the issue about risks for Macedonia’s security, Macedonian Dnevnik daily reports.

According to experts, it is possible for country’s security to be put at risk unless the newly formed armed groups are neutralized.

The attempts to repeat the events of 2001, the discontent of part of the Albanian community, the criminal groups headed by several extremists are the major reasons explaining the largest amount of illegal weapons ever seized since the military conflict in the country nine years ago, the newspaper writes.
