What an easy life we in the twenty first century are privileged to enjoy - providing of course you are not a non-politician living in a continent beloved by faded oralentless rock stars who either want to adopt your children or make you the fashionable-cause of the month in order to enhance their brand value.We have so many things to make our lives easier - to do all the hard work endured by previous generations. Washing machines to wash you clothes, coffee machines to make your coffee, remote controls so you don't have to get off the sofa - and here in Sydney - talk-back radio so you don't have to bother to think.
Why go to that trouble when you just press a button and the kings and queens of Sydney radio will do your thinking for you. In fact, they go out of their way to ensure you do as little thinking as possible. Maybe that is why Sydney talk back radio is so beloved by trade unionists - let someone else do the work.
