IRNA reports – President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad has "unveiled truth" about new "US-Zionist scenario against Iran," expressing sorrow that Russia, too, is now harmonizing with it.According to IRNA presidential affairs reporter, President Ahmadinejad who was speaking at the closing ceremony of the National Youth Festival added, “They (Iran’s enemies) have decided to launch attacks against a couple of Arab countries in the region that are our friends, getting assistance from the Zionist regime, to create an atmosphere of fear in decision making.”
He said, “Recent remarks by the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev are in fact revealing that scenario and we regret the fact that Medvedev has become the spokesman of this project and the plot hatched by Iran’s enemies.”
Ahmadinejad meanwhile stressed that Iran is still interested in maintaining and expanding relations with Moscow.
