South Korea: Russian investigation claims South's warship sunk by mine - not torpedo

A South Korean newspaper's claiming Russian investigators have found North Korea did not torpedo one of the South's warships. The report - which Russia has not confirmed - says the vessel hit a mine. The "Cheonan" sank off the Korean peninsula in March, with the loss of forty six sailors. An earlier U.S.-backed International investigation found Pyongyang responsible. But Russia sent its own team of investigators to the region last month. North Korea maintains it had nothing to do with the incident.
