Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA – The people and government of Iran are ready to help construct a better Africa offerring all their experiences and capabilities, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday.
'I would announce, on behalf of the Iranian nation, that there is no obstacle or limit for promotion of bilateral cooperation with African states,' President Ahmadinejad said in his address to a gathering on Iran-Africa relations.
He also expressed Tehran's readiness to host the next summit meeting of the African Union.
Iran would prepare all necessary grounds by institutionalizing bilateral ties and making needed infrastructures to promote effective mutual cooperation with the African states, stressed the President.
The first Iran-Africa panel discussion started here Tuesday morning with the participation of heads of states and high ranking representatives from 40 African states.
It will end on September 15.
