Iran: Thousands of Iranian-Americans to demonstrate against Ahmadinejad's presence at UN

Simultaneous with the scheduled speech by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of the Iranian regime, at the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, September 23, thousands of members of the Iranian-American community will stage a rally to condemn his presence at the UN and against the regime in its entirety.

Along with this largest gathering of Iranian-Americans, groups of Americans, as well as advocates of human rights and democracy will also participate.

The protestors, a majority of them supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, will declare their support for the Iranian people's resistance in support of democratic change.

Several prominent American and international dignitaries will address the rally.

A campaign of Iranian-American communities against Ahmadinejad's visit has been going on in more than 40 states for the past few weeks.
