Community Notice: Dolphin Foundation's Petition Disappears on Facebook

Who/Source: THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION, 501(c)3, Miami Beach, Florida

"We do not condone dolphin captures and do support what is in the best interest of the wild. This is a very unique case to be looked into. So please donate below so we can help the cause."

What & Where: FACEBOOK removes NON-THREATENING "ORCA (KILLER WHALE) EXPANSION TANK DONATION DRIVE" Petition from THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION page (search: Elle Powers) and calls it a bug. "Everyone seemingly on Facebook has their petitions in tact without "bugs". There is no bug. It was sabotage seemingly. We were singled out for trying to help an old whale who cannot be released."

Why: "Perhaps it was viewed as competition with Facebook's number one petitioner The Cove? We like their work. No matter, it is censorship and unjust. The environment deserves honest service. Dirty play hurts democracy and freedom for all. All we know is that our Facebook nonprofit partnership access was denied (petition rights and all hard work & efforts stripped & dissembled) AFTER taking OVER 1-month to establish access -- which is fishy!"

When: The Dolphin Foundation was in pursuit of creating more petitions to help the planet on November 7, 2010 when petition access was removed and the petition disappeared, while promoting it.
