Iran: Ahmadinejad - Enemies pursuing divide and rule policy in region

Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Prov, April 14, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that enemies were pursuing the divide and rule policy in the region by raising anti-Iran and anti-Shia propaganda.

During the past decades enemies were making the right-left game in the region to deceive Muslims, said the President in a meeting with local managers in this southeastern province.

He arrived in Zahedan Wednesday on the third round of his provincial tours to the Iranian cities.

The President added that one of the major objectives of the enemies in the Middle East was to divide regional states into different sections in order to easily rule them.

He added that while the enemies were “encouraging the Muslims to kill their own brothers, they prevent them from taking into consideration the crimes being systematically committed by the Zionist regime against Palestinian Muslims.”

President Ahmadinejad stressed the need for vigilance of regional states against the enemies plots.
