Bahrain: Prime Minister says he wants speedy reforms

The quick and successful implementation of Bahrain's National Dialogue initiatives is vital to the country's future, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said at Sunday's cabinet meeting. During the session, the Prime Minister called for ministries and agencies to act swiftly so that reform-minded momentum is not lost.

To properly accomplish this, the utmost cooperation among officials is necessary, he said. Ultimately, outcomes will be of historical significance in shaping future of Bahrain.

Following the Prime Minister's update, Committee Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa then briefed the cabinet on the status of the implementation and the details for advancing political, economic, social and human rights.
