Salehi also felicitated Libyan Muslim nation on their victory over dictatorship.
For his part, Abdul-Jalil appreciated humanitarian aid forwarded to Libya by the Iranian nation and government as well as Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to help Libyan Muslims during the country's hard times.
He also called for promotion of Tehran-Tripoli cooperation.
As for the fate of Lebanon's Shia cleric Imam Moussa al-Sadr who disappeared in Libya 33 years ago, Abdul- Jalil said that Libya’s NTC gave great importance to the issue.
He added that Libya would follow up that issue in order to achieve an expected outcome.
During latest mass protests against Libya’s dictator Muammar Gaddafi, Iran’s ambassador to the African state left that country however, after the victory of the Libyan revolution, Iran decided to resend its envoy to Tripoli as soon as possible.
