Opinion: Troy Davis

Georgia, you have executed 51 people since 1976. Considering the persistent and compelling question marks hanging over the conviction of Troy Davis - don't make it 52.

In many judicial systems, a jury's guilty verdict must be based on, "beyond reasonable doubt". A man's life should be based on the same principal.

Members of the parole board, are you that certain of Davis's guilt, that despite the lack of physical evidence linking Davis to the crime, you are prepared to send a man to his death?

Once the needle goes in, there is no turning back - for either Davis or for Justice.
