Myanmar: India, Myanmar pact on intelligence sharing

India and Myanmar on Friday agreed to strengthen the intelligence sharing mechanism to combat insurgency, smuggling and drug trafficking.

A joint statement issued after the formal bilateral talks between President U Thein Sein and Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh reaffirmed their unequivocal and uncompromising position against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
