There are two trending topics on Twitter, "one of these days" and "You Need To Realize". I thought about this and it didn't take long before the two came together naturally.
Dear West, "one of these days, you need to realize" that bombing the beejeebers out of other countries in the deceitful guise of promoting democracy, is not the best way to "win hearts" and minds. You may be welcome today but you soon outlive your welcome. Initial gratitude turns to resentment and resentment breed insurgency. Before too long you find yourself immersed in yet another deep bog you can't climb out of.
And what will you have achieved?
The same as always - bugger all except leave behind the rubble of ruined homes, shattered dreams, and broken families.
