Opinion: Freedom of speech does not equal freedom from responsibility

"Freedom of speech" What a beautiful expression. An expression and concept so beautiful, many have literally died for it. However, it's beauty is in danger of becoming tarnished, sadly hijacked by the few, to excuse their denial of lawful rights to others.

The rent-a-mob, the dedicated followers of fashionable causes, many not even fully understood by alleged 'activists' who flit like butterflies from one event to another.

Speak your mind, protest your cause - but as soon as you start denying others the rights you claim to be fighting for - the actions of the genuine, the courageous and those who realize that freedom of speech does not equal freedom from responsibility, are negated.
