Opinion: Respect?

When we were young we were told to respect our Elders. But too many Elders fail to respect The Child - our future. The very thing so many "Elders" claim to be fighting for.

Our future lies bleeding and dying in front of our eyes, in too many makeshift hospital beds, in too many shattered, smoldering homes.

Yet it is they, The Elders, who say the young have no respect.
