Middle East: Clear-up time at Jerusalem's Western Wall

Euronews http://www.euronews.com/ Jerusalem's Western or 'Wailing' Wall has been cleared of the many prayer notes and messages left by worshippers in the cracks between the stones.

It is a routine operation that happens twice a year, before Passover and the Jewish New Year.

The notes, from people of all religions the world over, are buried as under Jewish religious practice they must not be destroyed.
