Tehran, Oct 10, IRNA - Tunisian Interior Minister Ali Larayedh stressed Wednesday on the need to promote Tehran-Tunis bilateral relations through exchange of expert delegations between the two sides.
In a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Tunisia Hamid Jebelli, the Tunisian minister called for cooperation of the two interior ministries to pave the way for strengthening bilateral ties.
Larayedh also hailed Iran's valuable experiences in all fields.
Meanwhile, the Iranian envoy voiced Tehran's readiness to help Tunis make progress in its post-revolution era relying on Iran's rich experiments achieved following the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Jebelli said that the Islamic Awakening in Tunisia and its revolution have inspired other Arab states.
