Syria: Hezbollah chief admits backing Syrian regime

The secretary general of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has admitted that its fighters are backing the army of President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

But he said the number of Hezbollah members dying in the conflict with rebel forces has been exaggerated.
Hassan Nasrallah says what is happening in Syria is the destruction of the country as a whole.

Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel Hamid reports from the Bekaa valley, a Hezbollah stronghold in neighbouring Lebanon.
